October Road Trip – Burrton, KS

Meeting location: The QuikTrip near the intersection of 37th and N. Ridge Rd. – 4051 N. Ridge Rd.

Meeting time: 10:00 am with kickstands up at 10:30 am.

Distance: 25 miles one way from the departure location.

Lunch: The Barn

14 Day Forecast: High of 76° with mostly sunny skies. There’s a small chance of rain. I’ll continue to monitor that.

What you need to bring: Cash for the 50/50 drawing (six tickets for $5.00.)

For those of you who purchased cycle shades, please be sure to bring those with you. I told the company who made them that we would get a group picture. So that all the shade and non-shade bikes aren’t jumbled together, those with shades should plan to park to the SOUTH of the pumps at the very east end facing Ridge Rd., parking two bikes side-by-side. Do not back your bikes in, just parallel park. If there is enough room, we may even park three bikes abreast. Those without shades should park in the same location, but park at the very west of the line. It will be easier to get the picture at the QuikTrip than at the Barn as we may be scattered.

If you haven’t gotten your two rides in, this is your last chance to wrap that up.
