Scheduled Road Trips
The Krome Kitty Motorcycle Club (KKMC) organizes monthly Road Trips during the riding season, which includes April, May, June, July, August, September, and October, weather permitting. Destinations are planned at the start of the season by the Excursion Kitty (or Kitties).
Arrival for Road Trips
Members should arrive at the designated meeting location 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Motorcycles must be fueled and in sound mechanical condition. Members are expected to wear proper riding gear, including long pants, and riding boots….and wear a Kitty shirt. While helmet use is not required, KKMC strongly advises and encourages all members to wear one for their safety.
Meow Mixers
Meow Mixers are local lunch or dinner rides held during the riding season from April to October. These casual rides take place either on weeknights for dinner or on Saturdays or Sundays for lunch. The Events Kitty (or Kitties) is responsible for selecting the dates and destinations. Event details are shared with members through the KKMC private Facebook group and the Members-Only Events page on our website.
Overnight Trip
Each year, members decide during the Kitty Konference whether to organize an overnight trip. If approved, the destination and date may be determined during the conference. If not, the Excursion Kitty (or Kitties) will decide and communicate the details to members.
Overnight trips typically cover 300-500 miles and typically span three days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Winter Activities
KKMC stays active during the off-season by hosting one event each month November to March. These events are planned and organized by the Events Kitty (or Kitties). Attendance is optional but highly encouraged to help stay connected with fellow members during the winter months.
Charitable Organization
KKMC is proud to support AA Place for Dogs, an organization that provides pet care for individuals seeking in-patient treatment for addiction recovery. Many people face the challenge of finding reliable care for their pets, which can be a significant barrier to entering rehab. AA Place for Dogs helps ease this burden by offering compassionate care for their four-legged companions, allowing owners to focus on their recovery.
