Meet the force behind the Krome Kitties – our founder, a woman with grit, vision, and an endless passion for creating a space where women riders can be loud, proud, and unstoppable.
A Letter From Our Founder:
After receiving my motorcycle license in 2003, I was hooked by the thrill and freedom of riding my own bike. Without a network of women motorcyclists to ride with, riding with “the guys” was my only option. Hoping to connect with other ladies in the Wichita area, the Krome Kitty Motorcycle Club was established in 2004 to bring women together who all shared the same passion for riding on two or three wheels. That hopeful idea has turned into the first and longest lasting motorcycle club for women in Wichita, with members in Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Indiana. These are women from all walks of life and all ages who come together once a month in friendship and a sense of adventure.
In 2024, after nurturing KKMC for 20 years, I stepped away from my duties and turned the leadership over to a new team of leaders. I’m now enjoying KKMC from a member’s perspective. The Leadership Team is dedicated to the same mission that I had in 2004 and every year since….to provide a safe and fun environment for lady riders and to promote the image and recognition of female motorcyclists.
