2025 Soup Sampler
Every November, the Kitties come together with crockpots full of amazing soups to share. Lots of laughs and great food make an annual event we all enjoy.
Today’s annual Kitty Soup Pot Luck was another delicious success. Our hostess with the mostest was Julie! She had her beautiful home set up to comfortably handle the whole herd of kitties. Her sweet puppy Maui is lucky to still be at home. A whole lot of us would have gladly taken her to live with us.
As we have grown to expect, the soups were available in abundance, along with breads, toppings and desserts! Everything was so good. None of us went away hungry.
Christina brought along a friend who may be interested in joining us, Teresa. She didn’t scare easily and hung out all night with us. We enjoyed meeting her!
Angie arrived a little late, she thought the festivities began at 6pm. Oops. No matter, she took it in stride and arrived with a nice bottle of wine to take the edge off!
A few kitties weren’t able to attend at the last minute due to conflicts, not feeling well and one who was on the way but had a mishap with her soup. It ended up all over inside her car, so she didn’t make it after all.
Julie’s husband Dave was the ever supportive TomKat and joined in for some fun, food and conversation. He even took our group photo like a pro. Stephanie had her tripod and phone set up and he jumped right in and got a great photo of everyone (including Maui).
When we arrived, Julie had everyone put their name on a slip of paper and place the paper into a little bucket. After dinner and the group photo, she drew names out to pick party favors from the tables. She had set up cute and festive displays with a variety of autumn decor. Everyone went home with a special keepsake to remember our night together.
It was a wonderful evening together that went by really fast. We missed those who couldn’t attend. Hopefully you’ll make it next year!
